march 25th - bluetooth ip bus adapter for old pioneer head units
recently picked up an ip bus bluetooth adapter for my old school pioneer head unit off of ebay. the install was pretty easy, I just had to splice into 12 volts power and ground on the already existing stereo harness I made a while back, and then I had to plug in the ip bus connector to the actual port on the back of the head unit and route and plug in the microphone. very easy install, very worth for the price, which I think was about $15. it definitely sounds much better than my old bluetooth transponder, still doesn't sound absolutely fantastic but definitely an improvement. it sounds like it peaks at a lower volume than before, although that could be because of the lack of interference that comes with the transponder? I could be wrong, it also could be because I need to get better speakers, the door speakers could definitely use an upgrade. I will write more in the future when I get more use and mileage in with the new adapter. I also cleaned up the harness a little bit and I thought that the end result was really clean, I put a bit more tape than in the picture but yk. I wanted to use tessa tape but we don't have any and the harness was already doing fine in the past with no tape so I figured it would be ok to just use electrical tape.
march 8th, 2026 - Jack's AW11 MR2
this is Jack's AW11. he has gone through and pretty much replaced everything except all the parts that are still broken. in terms of mods, it has an aftermarket throttle bracket, a shift knob, a momo steering wheel, and different wheels, as well as an OEM wing off of another MR2. for many years this car was sitting in a backyard, but it eventually got pulled out of said backyard, the reason it was stuck there was because it had a bad fuel pump, which is already kind of a pain to change on these cars because you have to drop the gas tank, which is made even worse in a backyard. it runs and drives now, but it needs a new camshaft due to previous owners not using a zinc additive in the oil. I am quite fond of these cars my self, and I am equally as fond of the 4AGE which this car has. I think with just that new cam this car would be really solid, I would daily drive it and would definitely auto cross it too.
march 7th, 2026 - the clutch situation is crazy
the allegations are true, the clutch is slipping in the civic...... which is my daily driver....... a new clutch is actually pretty cheap and I remember how to change it but yeah minor inconvenience I guess....... also I will be showcasing someone else's car #soon...... and I made a lil drift video on beamng, watch it here!!!
march 1st, 2026 - my audi b6 s4
this is my 2005 audi s4!!(if I have the pictures uploaded yet)(I can't find any pictures of it right now) but anyways, my dad bought it from a local VW/Audi group shop here in town, daily drove it for a few years, and then sold it to me a little while ago for $2,500. reason he sold it to me is that the dual mass flywheel went out, which is what I am working on fixing at the moment, among other things. at the moment, I am deciding if I should change the rear main seal, which I probably will, it's just that it could be a lot more work. althouth so far I don't think it should add to much more work. I will add pictures of it when I can, it's a pretty car, but you can look up pictures of one. it's a black manual sedan.
february 27th, 2026 - my civic
this is my very first post on here, I'm so excited!!!! I have been wanting to make a blog of some kind for a while now, and a decent website that I actually use for even longer. the car you see below is my 1995 honda civic!!! my dad bought the car about 8 or 9 years ago for $500, and then gave it to me for free after the AC went out, so I've had it for about 7 years. my dad bought it from my grandma's neighbour, and the reason they were selling it was because it got stolen and was involved in a police chase which resulted in some crash damage which they didn't want to deal with, which ended up in them selling the car for 500$.
she isn't really a looker at the moment, but I don't really care much. eventually yes, I am going to paint it, I just don't exactly have the money right now. as for mods it has a yonaka 2.5 inch catback, megan racing 1.75" lowering springs, front and rear strut tower braces, wheels that I bought off of upgarage that I forgot the name of, nitto neogens, a buddy club shift knob, nardi steering wheel, corbeau bucket seat, integra passenger seat, front and rear camber kits, PCI spherical tie rod ends, and denji headlights. it isn't exactly much but I'm still so proud of my progress over the years, it's an amazing car to drive, it handles great, gets fantastic gas mileage, and it's even my daily driver!!!
